GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — For more than a month, investigators have been searching without success for a man who attacked a bus driver.
Grand Rapids Police say the assault happened on the morning of January 7, near the area of 28th Street and Kalamazoo Avenue. The suspect boarded a Rapid bus, but did not have money or a bus pass.
According to police, the driver told the man he had to get off. That's when he attacked the driver and threatened him with a weapon. The man ran off the bus after the assault.
Police describe the suspect as 5-foot 8-inches, weighing about 160 pounds.
