GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Last March, Tim Todish founded 'Feed the Front GR' in an effort to provide meals for health care workers battling the pandemic and caring for the sick.
Given the recent flare-up of Covid-19, he is starting the service back up again this holiday season.
The platform allows for anyone to get involved and donate food from local restaurants. Health care workers simply request a meal for themselves or their coworkers; once enough money is collected, the food is bought from a participating restaurant.
