GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Video of Monday's crash between a train and Rapid bus has been released, following a Freedom of Information Request by FOX 17.
The video shows the driver trying to get the bus over an icy railroad crossing, then directing 3 passengers to get out to safety. The driver tries to flag down the train, before getting out of the way when the train hit the bus at 4 miles per hour.
According to the Rapid, the bus suffered just cosmetic damage and should be back on the road soon, pending any needed investigation.
