IONIA, Mich. — Ionia is cancelling its fireworks originally scheduled for this Thursday.

It’s because of flooding at the Ionia Fairgrounds and a forecast of additional rain this week, according to the Ionia Department of Public Safety.
Officials are tentatively planning to hold a fireworks show during Labor Day instead.
