$480K in grants for Michigan nonprofits, courtesy of the Consumers Energy Foundation

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The ongoing pandemic has taken a toll on many industries, including non-profits.

FOX 17 spoke with Carolyn Bloodworth, an Executive Director at Consumers Energy, about their new grants meant to help those businesses out.

In total, the Consumers Energy Foundation has provided $5.4 million in total, with $200k for food insecurity/distribution, $2.5 million in total for small businesses, and $850k for "Our Town" campaign.
