PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Police arrived on Circle Drive in Plainfield Township Thursday morning following reports of a pedestrian who was struck by a garbage truck, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office.
We’re told the 79-year-old Belmont man was transported to Spectrum Downtown after the crash, where he was later pronounced dead.
The crash is under investigation.
