ADA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Amway is cutting about 50 positions in West Michigan.

A company spokesperson said Amway is adjusting its marketing and research and development departments, which includes eliminating the jobs.

The spokesperson said the cuts are the last in a series that started in 2018 as Amway reviews its global structure. Last year, the company cut 47 positions in its information technology department and terminated an undisclosed number of employees in multiple departments in April.

“These changes are not easy, but Amway is committed to supporting employees throughout this difficult transition and is offering exiting employees severance pay, continued health insurance, career transition services, and counseling services,” a statement says.
