UPDATE 12/6/20: Grandville Police were called to Rivertown Crossing Mall at 6:41 p.m. on Saturday for a possible incident involving a gun.
It started as "retail fraud" inside one of the mall's stores, involving three suspects.
They left the store but were then confronted by a store clerk about the alleged fraud, at which time one of the suspects flashed a gun at the worker.
Officers then arrived and chased the suspects into the parking lot, where they arrested one of the suspects and recovered the relevant firearm.
The other two suspects are still at large, however Police say that the public is not in any danger from them.

Original: Grandville PD surrounded Rivertown mall for nearly two hours after 3 suspects in an armed robbery ran inside trying to evade capture.
Dispatch tells FOX 17 one of the 3 suspects was taken into custody before 7 p.m., but the other two -- including the armed suspect -- were believed to be still in the mall.
A perimeter was set up and K-9 units were brought in, but left without additional arrests. Our crew on scene says the mall shops locked up well before the 8 p.m. closing time, but people were still milling around.
Police cleared the area just before 9 p.m. and we're told there is no danger to the public.
