GRAND RAPIDS CHARTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park may be known by many for it's summer concert series, butterfly garden, and Christmas tree displays, but it's also home to the Grand Valley Orchid Society's 22nd annual orchid show.
Displays were brought in by orchid enthusiasts from across the state for the weekend-long event.
Newbies and green thumbs alike can walk away with all the tools needed to care for the flowers, of which many are available for purchase.
Classes will be taught throughout Sunday starting with a growing class at 1 p.m., a repotting demonstration at 2 p.m., and a discussion on how to grow orchids under lights.
The Orchid Show is open from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
