KENTWOOD, Mich. — A husband and father from Kentwood is charged with murder nearly two months after a woman was found dead in their home.
Richard Guichelaar is accused of strangling his wife Amber back on November 16. The 35-year-old Guichelaar faces one count of open murder.
District Court Judge Sterkenburg set his bail at $2 million. Guichelaar's next scheduled appearance in court is set for January 21.
