GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Lori's Voice did what they do best and brought a much-needed resource to a family.
If you need something to raise your spirits, look no further than 13-year-old Anabelle.
Anabelle's mom, Angela Graham, says she knew Anabelle was her daughter by the way she'd look her way when she walked in the room.
Anabelle suffered a traumatic brain injury as a baby, but don't let that fool you.
This little girl loves purple, right down to her nail polish, and even more, loves her new van.
These vans, though essential to moms like Angela, don't come cheap and often aren't covered by insurance.
This one locks Anabelle into place.
Before, it would take Angela forever just to get in the car.
This van isn't new, but someone donated it to Lori's Voice, who fixed it up to give to Angela.
It's a blessing, because it gives this family a new start.
Their first trip is off to school, and the best memories are yet to come.
