COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. — A Kent City bee farm is inviting you to learn what it takes to be a beekeeper at a Beekeeping 101 class Tuesday night.

The class is hosted by Hickory Tree Farm Apiaries and will take place at Perrin Brewing Company from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.

Organizers say the class will explain the life cycle and roles of honeybees, what the equipment is used for, and how to get started. There will be a real hive on display for you to see of course with no bees inside.

Tickets to the class cost $10 and can be purchased here.
