OAKFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Kent County Sheriff's Office says a motorcycle driver is in critical condition after a crash Wednesday evening.
Deputies responded to the crash at Old 14 Mile Road NE and Lincoln Lake Avenue NE in Oakfield Township, just before 6 p.m.
The sheriff's office says a Jeep stopped at the intersection then pulled out in front of a motorcycle. The motorcycle was able to avoid the Jeep, but, in doing so, the driver lost control and crashed.
Deputies say the driver, a 65-year-old man from Greenville, was not wearing a helmet. Emergency crews took him to the hospital in critical condition.
