WYOMING, Mich. — Traffic on US-131 southbound was snarled at 44th Street by a compound crash that included a jackknifed semi and a couple of cars.
The semi jackknifed shortly before 11:30 a.m. just south of 44th Street and blocked the right two lanes.
The two cars that blocked the right two lanes at 44th Street at the same time. It was unknown if the crash of the semi and the collision of the cars were related.
Traffic backed up to about 32nd Street before the semi was moved to the shoulder of southbound US-131 at about 11:50 a.m.
There was no word on injuries, but no medical units could be seen at either scene.
