ALGOMA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — State troopers responded to a multi-vehicle crash in Algoma Township Thursday afternoon.

Michigan State Police (MSP) says the crash happened at 14 Mile Road and Northland Drive after 5:30 p.m.

We’re told four vehicles were involved in the crash.

MSP says a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer drove east on 14 Mile Road when the driver proceeded through the red light and hit two other vehicles.

The impact sent one of the vehicles into the path of another that was traveling south, according to troopers.

One of the drivers was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.
