BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Part of Division Avenue was closed in Cutlerville as crews worked to stabilize a utility pole after it was hit by a plow truck.
Cutlerville Fire Department tells FOX 17 a crash between the plow truck and another vehicle sent the truck into the pole around 7 a.m. Thursday.
The impact broke the pole, and what is left came to rest on the truck.
Emergency crews blocked all of Division Avenue until Consumers Energy could secure the pole enough to make sure the power lines did not come down.
One lane of southbound Division remains will be closed until crews free the plow truck and fix the pole.
