Woman injured during shooting in Kentwood

KENTWOOD, Mich. — A woman was injured during after 20 to 30 shots were fired Wednesday evening in Kentwood.

Kentwood police were dispatched to the shooting about 7:10 p.m. near 4611 Drummond Blvd. SE, a news release said.

They found a woman with a gunshot wound to the leg, and she was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Her injuries were not considered life-threatening.

This incident is still being investigated.
