WYOMING, Mich. — Wyoming police have identified the woman who was shot dead while walking on a sidewalk last week.
34-year-old Cynthia Jean McCoy of Grand Rapids was shot and killed about 12:30 p.m. Friday while walking on the sidewalk in the 900 block of Burton Street SW.

Police said the shooter fled the area on foot.
They described him as a male, 5’10”-6’2", wearing a dark-blue hooded sweatshirt and blue face mask.
