Wyoming police investigate shooting on city's SW side

WYOMING, Mich. — Wyoming Police is investigating a shooting that left no one injured Tuesday afternoon.

Officers responded around 4:00 p.m. to a report of shots fired and a car crash near 36th Street and Jefferson Aveune SW.

Two men, who according to police have known each other and are involved in a long-term dispute, saw each other while driving in the area mentioned above,

One of the men allegedly pointed a gun out of his car and fired multiple times at the other man while there heading westbound on 36th St.

The car of the driver being shot at was struck several times, but the driver was not physically harmed.

After the victim's car was shot, he lost control and crashed into a parked vehicle.

The shooter fled the scene in his respective vehicle.

The investigation of this incident is ongoing, as no vehicle description is available at this time.
