WYOMING, Mich. — Wyoming police have identified Larry Earl Cooper Jr. as a person of interest in the investigation of a 2-year-old shot in the abdomen.
The shooting happened about 7 p.m. on Oct. 4 at a home in the 2200 block of 29th St. SW, according to a news release.
The 2-year-old boy was taken to the hospital by private vehicle with life-threatening injuries.
He is still being treated as of Thursday and police describe his condition as “extremely critical.”
Cooper is wanted on a parole violation warrant and refuses to turn himself in, according to police.
