Burlington Twp. crash leaves woman seriously injured

BURLINGTON TWP., Mich. — A crash between a car and a motorcycle in Burlington Township left the motorcyclist seriouslty injured.

The crash happened Sunday afternoon around 4:30 p.m., in the area of M60 and 10 ½ Mile Road.

Witnesses on scene said the motorcycle was heading east on M60 when a car pulled in front of him, causing an accident.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 64-year-old Battle Creek woman, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Oaklawn Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the car was not injured. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.

This accident is being investigated by the Calhoun County Reconstruction Team.
