BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A man is under arrest and hospitalized after rolling a car on I-94.
Crews arrived at the scene around 1:30 a.m. Saturday and found a vehicle on its roof with an injured man inside. The man was able to get himself out of the vehicle but, when responders attempted to lead him to the ambulance, he began to fight.
Two deputies were injured, but are expected to quickly recover.
The 39 year-old DeWitt man will be taken to the Calhoun County Jail when he is recovered from his injuries for driving while intoxicated and assaulting officers.
