BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The Department of Veterans Affairs is making the person leading the Battle Creek Medical Center the new Director for the facility.
Michelle Martin officially takes over the role on September 13. She's been serving as the acting Director since March, and was also Associate Director for Patient Care Services plus Nurse Supervisor.
“We are excited to officially name Michelle Martin as the new director of the Battle Creek VA [Medical Center],” said RimaAnn Nelson, Veterans Integrated Service Network 10 Director. “Michelle has a proven track record of success at VA Medical Centers throughout this region – including right here in Battle Creek. Her sound leadership qualities and proven experience will be valuable assets to the Battle Creek VAMC’s employees, volunteers, and -- most importantly -- to the Veterans we are honored to serve.”
