BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Videos obtained by Fox 17 show Calhoun County police arresting a man for collecting signatures door-to-door.
A deputy asks him if he has a permit to do so and asks for his ID.
The man responds by saying he's not collecting money, so it's unclear how it's considered soliciting.
A deputy later says he's being arrested for hindering and opposing.
