KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A 29-year-old man was shot Friday afternoon in Kalamazoo.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says it happened about 3 p.m. near 1400 Fox Ridge.
When officers got to the scene, they learned the man was being transported to a local hospital in a private vehicle.
The man shot told officers the location of the shooting and a description of the shooter.
That shooter hasn’t been found and the incident is still being investigated.
The man shot is being treated for injuries deemed survivable.
