KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A shooting that happened on New Year's Day left one man dead, according to officials with Kalamazoo Public Safety (KPS).
The incident occurred Friday afternoon around 4 p.m., with officers responding to reports of shots fired inside a building at the 1300 block of Fox Ridge Drive.
Upon arrival, officers found a 21-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after police arrival.
As of Sunday afternoon, no arrests have been made regarding the incident.
This incident is currently being investigated by detectives with KPS Detectives responded to the scene, and are currently investigating the incident.
