PORTAGE, Mich. (AP) — The Portage Police Department, who did a welfare check Tuesday morning at a residence on Romence Road after a man didn’t report to work for a few days, have now put up yellow tape around the property.
Officers also brought shovels to the backyard. Gary and Laura Johnson, both in their mid-60s, were not at their Portage home.
Public safety Director Nick Armold says there's no “rational explanation” for their disappearance.
