KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — One person is hurt following a single-vehicle crash that in Kalamazoo County on Tuesday, according to Michigan State Police.
The Portage Department of Public Safety says the crash happened on I-94 in Texas Township. We’re told they and Texas Township Fire & Rescue worked to remove the injured person from the vehicle.
MSP says the vehicle involved was totaled in the crash, adding the victim's severe leg injuries are considered non-life threatening.
Dispatchers say the crash closed one eastbound lane and one westbound lane at mile marker 72.8.
The eastbound lane has since reopened.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area as cleanup progresses.
