KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A spokesperson for Battle Creek Police Department (BCPD) announced Sunday morning Hamblin Avenue is completely closed between Kendall and Angell streets.
This closure comes after a hit-and-run accident that caused a water main break.

Officers say that a vehicle hit a utility pole and a fire hydrant, resulting in the break.
