KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo Department of Safety say they are staying near the area of a shooting that left a 17 year-old in the hospital to deter further violence.
The shooting happened just before 2:30 near 1100 James St, and both the victim and suspect ran away after. The teen was admitted to Bronson Hospital with a non-life-threatening gun shot wound during the investigation. Police are speaking wo witnesses and have found several shell casings from two different caliber weapons.
