PORTAGE, Mich. — The intersection of Claremont Street and Cedarcrest Avenue in Portage will be closed starting at 7 a.m. Thursday.
Portage city officials say the intersection will be closed due to the extension of underground utilities. The intersection will be temporarily filled in with gravel and will reopen to traffic by May 1.
The city expects the intersection to be paved and all work completed by May 4.
