KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo police are investigating an armed robbery from earlier this month, a news release said Wednesday.
I happened about 6:55 p.m. on Jan. 11 in the 2100 block of S. Burdick at the Tienda Guatemalteca.
Three men entered and robbed the store at gunpoint, police said.
The store employees complied with the demands of the armed robbers, who then fled.
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers soon responded, but the robbers weren’t found.
Officers obtained video and were able to see a small silver sedan fleeing the area immediately after the robbery.
All three robbers were wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks.
