KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo police have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a 54-year-old man last week.
A 23-year-old Kalamazoo man was taken into custody in the 2600 block of Airview Boulevard on murder and weapon charges Sunday, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
He’s being held at the Kalamazoo County Jail and will be arraigned Tuesday.
The man shot, Robert Earl Johnson, was sleeping in his home in the 1600 block of N. Church St. In the early morning of Oct. 9 when a bullet came through a wall and hit him.
