PORTAGE, Mich. — Pfizer broke ground Wednesday afternoon on a new pharmaceutical production facility.
The company describes it as "one of the world’s most technically advanced sterile injectable pharmaceutical production facilities – known as Modular Aseptic Processing."
The 420,000 square foot production engine is expected to bring 450 jobs to Kalamazoo County.
