KALAMAZOO CHARTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Township of Kalamazoo Police Department is working to return stolen mail to about 28 homes.
Officers saw a group of individuals acting suspiciously Thursday morning in the 1800 block of Humphrey Street, and they fled when officers approached, a news release said.
Police found discarded backpacks containing the stole mail.
The affected homes are located in and around Kalamazoo Charter Township.
Officers are working on identifying all of the individuals involved in the thefts.
