KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Police say one person is dead after a shooting in Kalamazoo Sunday afternoon.
It happened around 2:45 p.m. on South Rose Street.
The 30-year-old man was shot multiple times and was unresponsive when police got there.
According to police, he died in the hospital after life saving efforts.
Neighbors Brianna and Derrance Anderson heard the shots saying 2020 has been a bad year for Kalamazoo.
"I mean I hope this world gets better for everybody, people just need to sit down stop worrying about what other people have in their pockets if they want to rob or just to kill, I mean people have families to live for," Brianna said.
