KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) is investigating a double shooting that left two people injured.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m., when KDPS officers responded to a report of gunfire near the 1700 block of Center Street.
Upon arrival, officers found two victims with gunshot wounds, along with a nearby vehicle that had been struck by multiple gun shots.
Officers provided medical attention to the victims before they were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
The victims are both in stable condition, as their injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
