BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Police need help locating a suspect in a Battle Creek robbery.
A 75-year-old man was robbed while in his vehicle at a gas station on Goguac Street and Capital Avenue, according to the Battle Creek Police Department today.
The suspect allegedly robbed the victim and entered a parked car before driving off.
Police said the victim chased the suspect as he took off, clinging to the vehicle before being dragged along the ground for a few feet until letting go.
He was run over in the process and is now in critical condition.
The male suspect, about 30, is described as short and wearing blue jeans, a gray-hooded sweatshirt and perhaps white tennis shoes.
