BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A new recreational marijuana store is opening in Battle Creek Tuesday.
Michigan Supply and Provisions is opening its second location at 6010 B Drive N off M-66 in Battle Creek.
It will feature online pre-ordering and customers can pick up their orders either curbside or by making an appointment.
We're told the system is simple and is meant to keep everyone safe and reduce wait times.
"If you place an order, you will show up, show the order on your phone there's a QR code, we will confirm that you're the person who made the order. We verify your identification, and we will process your order and bring it out."
"If you'd rather come inside again do that by appointment only and we have a very limited amount of people who we let in," said Joe Gullia, senior vice president of retail, for Michigan Supply and Provisions.
The company says it will be opening more provisioning centers later this year, as well as a cultivation and processing facility in Lansing.
