SPRINGFIELD, Mich. — Teachers at Springfield Middle School got a special delivery on Monday in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week.

The principal & assistant principal of the school along with their instructional coach spent hours putting together the gift baskets while following social distancing and sanitizing protocols.

We're told every teacher at the school got a gift basket full of goodies along with a "Thank You" note.

Inside were notebooks, sticky notes, clipboards, sharpies, pens, snack food, the teachers favorite drinks.

There were 33 gift baskets passed out between Hastings, Battle Creek, Marshall, and Kalamazoo,

The organizers say it took six hours to deliver all of the baskets.
