ALLEGAN, Mich. — A man is being held in a stabbing last Friday night in Allegan County.
Deputies were called to an address in Lee Township around 10 p.m., and they found a man in his 50s with a knife wound, reports the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office in a release.
The man claimed he had been stabbed by Paris Sylvester Covington Jr, 61, of Lee Township.
The two men knew each other, and Covington is accused of stabbing the victim when the man confronted Covington about being in his vehicle.
The victim is expected to recover from his wound, and Covington is being held on an assault charge.
