FENNVILLE, Mich. — Fennville schools were put in a precautionary lockdown for about 20 minutes Thursday while police investigated a potential threat outside the school.
The school went into lockdown around 11:20 a.m., shifted to shelter in place 10 minutes later and classes resumed as normal at 11:40 a.m.
The district says they were told to go into the lockdown by police investigated a potential threat, but don’t have specific details. There isn’t any connection to the school.
