Wayland Police investigating shooting into occupied home

WAYLAND, Mich. — No one was hurt during a shooting targeted at an occupied home in Wayland on Tuesday morning.

Chief Mark Garnsey says officer responded to Windsor Woods and found several bullet holes in the side of the house.

No one inside the home was hit.

Police have not released any suspect descriptions. Investigators believe the suspect(s) left in a car.

Chief Garnsey tells FOX 17 there is no suspected connection to another shooting at a home from last November.
