GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — While the Fulton Street Farmers Market in Grand Rapids has been open each Saturday, other area farmers markets are saying they will be opening soon.
The Muskegon Farmers Market announced they will be open beginning May 2 will will be open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays through November 30. Face masks and social distancing will still be encouraged, and there are other changes. The picnic tables will not be there, and there will be no music nor other entertainment.
Organizers also ask that families limit the number of people at the market to allow members of as many different families as possible.
The Terra Square Farmers Market in Hudsonville will open June 3. Their plan is to be open every Wednesday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on selected Saturday 9 a.m to 1 p.m.: June 27, July 25, August 29, and September 26.
The Holland Farmers Market will open May 13 and will continue to be open Wednesdays and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Until then, they have released details on how you can buy items from many of their regular sellers.
