MUSKEGON, Mich. — A new roundabout in Muskegon is already getting some patchwork done after Wednesday's storms.

Video sent to FOX 17 by Nate Koekkoek shows water flowing underneath the roundabout at Pere Marquette beach on Wednesday.

City leaders say rain overwhelmed the drainage system causing a small washout.

However they say the pavement is stable and crews have put in a temporary fix.

The department of public works says it will be working on a more permanent solution within the next week.
