WHITEHALL, Mich. — White Lake Fire Authority Chief Gregory Holman is on administrative leave during an investigation.
Holman was put on leave on Feb. 14 while procedural and operational issues at the fire authority are investigated. Details on what the issues are weren’t provided, but a statement from the chair of the fire authority board said it isn’t related to criminal activity.
The board says the investigation also doesn’t involve a $1.5 million millage to fund improvements and upgrades to facilities and equipment at the authority.
More information will be provided once the investigation is complete.
