GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Three people from San Antonio, Texas were injured Wednesday morning during a rollover crash on I-196 in Ottawa County.
It happened just after 9:30 a.m. near M6 in Georgetown Township, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said.
Police say a 26-year-old woman was driving a Pontiac Montana eastbound when she lost control on the snow-covered roads, went off the right side of the road and rolled several times.
The driver and front seat passengers were both transported to Spectrum for injuries that weren’t life-threatening.
The backseat passenger was in a child seat.
While the vehicle was rolling over, the child seat was thrown from the vehicle with the child secured inside the seat.
The child received minor injuries and was transported to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
