OLIVE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A two-car crash in Olive Township left one driver hospitalized, according to Ottawa County police officers.
The crash occurred around 7 p.m. on at the intersection of West Olive Rd. and Port Sheldon Rd.
A 50-year-old West Olive man was heading northbound in a GMC Sierra on West Olive Rd. before stopping at Port Sheldon Rd.
After stopping, the man proceeded through the intersection. He did not see the 44-year-old driver of a Chevy Silverado, heading eastbound on Port Sheldon Rd. approaching West Olive Rd.
The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
The driver of the Chevy Silverado was transported to Holland Community Hospital to treat injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
The driver of the GMC Sierra was not injured. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this accident.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
