GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Eighth Avenue Park beach is scheduled to be closed Thursday while lake managers work to treat algal blooms.
Georgetown Township officials say everyone and their animals are advised to stay away from the water along Eighth Avenue Lake for about 24 hours after treatment takes place.
We’re told the area will be open again Friday, May 27.
