CROCKERY TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two teens are injured following a rollover crash in Crockery Township Saturday afternoon.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened on I-96 at mile marker 11.

We’re told an eastbound 2016 Chevy Malibu changed lanes to pass a 2017 Ford F-150 when the Malibu drove off of the road and rolled over multiple times.

Deputies say a 17-year-old boy was driving the Malibu. A 16-year-old girl was the passenger. Both suffered minor injuries in the crash. The driver of the pickup wasn’t hurt.

The Malibu driver was issued a citation for executing an unsafe lane change, authorities say.

The sheriff’s office tells us one of the eastbound lanes was closed while road cleanup proceeded.

Ottawa County dispatchers say the road has since reopened.
